Yea, they gotta keep up with their kernels..  Basically I think the glitch occurred with the fact that 5713+ checks the date rather than the dash version, and their project management overseers undersaw and signed it after Aug 5 2003 or whatever (It was signed on Sept 15)..

Hehe... that exception is a way that's known, but few have got it yet eh. unsure.gif

Footnote: if anyone would like to go on a "treasure hunt" for it, see my sig and the posts in the "UD-eh!" page it links to eh... ph34r.gif

You mean the current font hacks(mech, big fonts etc.)  for old 4920s doesn't work for that slipped 4920 we use for UXE ? Well at least I have the audio exploit working without any problem.

Just wondering, how come they missed this one, or at least adjust the kernel(5713+) to ban this one as well ?

(Re: "how come they missed this one"... they more than likely chose the "5713+ cut-off date" specifically, for whatever their reasons were eh. uhh.gif)

Re: the fonts... I didn't mean that; if the fonts don't have a dependency on the hardware, then I anticipate (but don't know) that they'd work fine on all current kernels with UD-eh!  cool.gif

(That feature potentially has the benefit of facilitating a more XBL compatible font exploit though, albeit still without live console support eh... ph34r.gif)
