i believe the one from the slayers evox auto-installer disc will work, on the disc its located at: System/ALL/c/xodash/update.xbe

but you may want to check with someone else to make sure it is the right update.xbe

if you have your xbox hooked up to the internet you could update the dash with a live enabled game also, should update the dash before it actually requires you to create an account, ive done that with a couple xboxes before softmodding them and it updated them to 5960.01 which worked fine with the softmod

I am trying to softmod my xbox which i just bought using the modens audio xploit.....

problem is i dont have the 4920 dashboard, i have:

K:1.00.5838.01
D:1.00.5659.03

as you may have guessed, i am a newbie. all i really want is to play dvdr games on my xbox, in the easiest way possible via softmodding....

what can i do? is there a simple way to downgrade to dashboard 4920?

OK, if Morden's is te only save you can get onto your card, do this:

Load up the Morden save. You now have ftp access. Do NOT run the installation.
FTP in and delete the Morden save from UDATA\.
FTP in the new ltools save in its place
Reboot the xbox. Load your save game & run the ltools installer.
