a long time ago i bought a matrix chip and since  have installed it i havent bothered to flash it with anything new... if its not broke dont fix it.

Now i have a need for a 200+gig hard drive in my xbox and i need to know what i need to do to my matrix or what bios i can flash to it to make it work.  Also if i flash a new bios will i need to reformat my harddrive?  Thanks in advance:)

Ok you will need the iND-bios 5003.  There are two versions a .6 and a .67 the .6 will mke one big partion and the .67 will have a two large partitions.  That is the differance in a nut shell.

You will not need to reformat the hdd unless you ever goto another version of .6 and .67 just always use the ame version.
