Welll, I know its kinda pointless to say this because I still need to get a ms bios and un-mod my xbox to really test it but i managed to pull some files out of the hulk disk2, burn onto a dvd and play the demo. Showed up as a video and loaded just like the original but i kept out the videots and audiots files. Anyways I'm gonna search around, seems that all the changing I have done to my xbox I deleted my original bios. Oh well, I'll see what I can do.

Only softmodders at risk.
It updated the Ms Dashboard and removes venurabalities.

they cant flash your tsop unless they come to your house and jump the points for you.

and if they did that, i'd gladly let them in, the quickly give them the boot once they jumped the points....

Tsops?
I was talking about mod chips. If youve already tsoped then writing is enabled.
Only format c drives of xbox's that run on an illegal bios.
U know more but its still posiible.

Just to add to the paranoia (coz I'm in that kind of mischievous mood wink.gif )....

Why can't MS include code to zap your TSOP?
If you're on an unmodded XBOX (no soldered jumpers) – attempting the erase the TSOP would be completely harmless.
If you'd soldered your jumpers, you’re obviously up to no good, and your TSOP could be erased.

lol tongue.gif

PS. This isn't serious - it is unbelievably likely that this would ever be attempted.

Not to disturb the masters, but does it look like something good might come out of this? Would be nice with ude for new pal machines.

I believe the utopia aimed for is "for all unmodifed XBOXs; to be able to launch homebrew wink.gif software; from any region; directly from removable media (DVD-Rom, CD-Rom); without leaving any contamination (i.e. on the HDD)".

The very recent success reported in the pinned Hulk DVD thread (here and here) claims to have had the XBOX boot a home produced DVD – this is a very necessary step toward these goals.

This 'utopia' would render all existing exploits redundant.

Actually I was wondering the same thing.

(And the answer is here.)

The short answer is no.
