it is not signed properly, either use a BIOS or nkpatcher or sign it with habibi

ftp the MSdash.xbe file to your computer, download Hex workshop, and hex it. Make sure any instances of f.o.n.t.s is changed to f.0.n.t.s (that's a zero not an o)

Follow Trev's instructions... If memory serves... you can't sign the msdash executable

I have no problem signing it with habibi and can verify it with :

xbedump msdash.xbe -vh -shabibi

Running ltools you should have either nkpatcher or PBL running, so no signing should be needed.

The C:\msdash.xbe is a copy of the original dashboard (or whatever you had as C:\xboxdash.xbe before you installed ltools). The installer also patches it to use the c:\f0nts folder.
If the msdash does not run my best bet is that either the original fonts are not located in C:\f0nts or some of the settings files for the M$ dash are missing.

Edit : C:\xboxdash.bak is a backup of the original dashboard made by the ltools installer. Use a copy of that if you want to experiment with hexediting yourself.

Try´d everything avobe and im still geting the same problem, i got thge original fonts on the f0nts (zero) directory, habibi patched it, everithing, and im still getting the same problem. :(

I also atempted to hex edit it, but i couldnt fine any f.o.n.t.s or f.0.n.t.s inside the file.

I would like to mention that im using PBL Metoo and EvoxM8.

Has anyone got running the dash version 5659 with this setup?

Thanks

I have a 1.6 running FBL and M8 also, and my MS dash works fine, but I hex edited it according to the UDE2 guide for kernels 3944-5838. If you're not finding f.o.n.t.s, try looking for fonts or f0nts.

Also, make sure all of your Xbox dashboard files are in the C drive.
