ok. i tried to install ude2 on my v1.1 xbox. I then uninstalled it and my m$ dash wont load. i get error 13. i tried to reinstall ude, but it says update.xbe is missing. is their a place on #xbins to get it? No i cant even reinstall dash 4920 from a live game

you didn't do a backup before all this ?

yes. ude backed up c: on install. after it didnt load oafter uninstall, i reloaded the hack through splinter cell and went to restor C:. nothing happened.

ok, first thing first don't lose power to your Xbox or if the clock reset, you have to hotswap.

I am assuming you can still run the game save hack, try to run the mini-linux and telnet into it and restore them manually.

mini linux wont run. I'll hotswap and look for update.xbe and restore it

that is extremely strange as mini-linux doesn't need anything on C:.

well it runs but it stops on the text output of the ether0

what text output ? There is nothing special in mini-linux, it just give you a prompt and nothing else. If you have a keyboard, you can type command there. If you don't, you can telnet into it. Can you ping 192.168.0.3, assuming your PC is on the same subnet ?
