(You wouldn't have to change your dash version and you only need to hex if you want to still access the M$ dash eh.)

use ldots mem card installer it does everything for you,
even if you don't have a mem card put it in from PC app....
if you have any of the needed games
 
log on to XBLive to get updated or ugrade with a live enabled game then log on.
no account needed.(first with no mod)

Which guide?  (Only the update.xbe is needed from another dash for UDE eh.)

I don't know if that was confusing or not to this guy but he meant that that package under

xbox/operating systems/linux/distributions/ltools/

will yes, just install the UDE not linux!

It just uses linux to install UDE but no linux files are left behind! tongue.gif biggrin.gif
