Alright this is the deal...I have a 1.1 console softmodded I flashed the bios with X24972.06_bfm. I am pretty sure thats why it is screwed up...I have installed the switch mod for multibios. The bios image is 256k. I used evox to flash the bios everything went through alright and the screen said xbox will not shutdown. Went to turn it back on and got a deadly frag. The other problem is that I cannot boot from any of the 4 banks. It doesnt make sense the a 256k image flashed the whole 1mb of the bios. I have had a bad flash before and was able to boot to another bank, whats wrong this time? Is there anyway to fix it without getting a modchip? I would really just assume be able to fix it myself. I have seen little tidbits of information here and there about using an isa card and whatnot are there any tutorials to build a programmer to fix it? I just wnat to get my xbox working again! The switches are wired correctly, when I flashed I forgot to turn both off so I had the switch on A18 on and A19 closed, also I forgot to say earlier that I cannot boot anything at all it's almost like it just erased my whole tsop and didnt write anything. It does the standard on and off three times and on the third time it stays on with flashing red and green.
