Thanks Ricecake, I might end up taking you up on that one.  It's too bad photobucket doesn't have ftp access... that would be really handy so I don't have to upload the pics one at a time.

If you need an image host I could help you out.

Hell if anyone needs image hosting related to an XBox softmod tutorial I'll help out smile.gif!

Hi, I would need a host for my linux only UDE installer,  in place HD upgrade tools. Boot would be about 8M. Can you host that ?

Those public photo albums are another good free option.  They limit the number of pics you can have for free with any one acct, but anybody can view or link to them and there is no overall bandwidth limit.

Yeah, apparently.  Pretty sad, huh.

All the stuff should be working now.  My hosting account was restored.

This is going to sound stupid, I know, but does anybody happen to have all of the pictures saved?  I don't have them backed up, somehow.

Edit:  Never mind, they're on photobucket now so things should be pretty reliable now.  My other hosting account is all but dead; anyone wanna host the videos for the memcard tut?

Btw, I already have gentoox in E:\ as gentoox.xbe (it works and boots ok.. though executing the gentoox.xbe via evox menu or boxplorer also 'hangs' my xbox.. i can only start gentoox via SmartXX menu > Linux > Linux FATX
[edit: oops, its 'FATX' and not 'HDA']

So, alternatively i just need to get xtool into my gentoox.. any idea? I didn't find any separate package in xbins.. nor after unzipping all the zips in ltools package.. is there a separate xtool to use for an already installed gentoox? I just need to get eeprom thing going...

this amuses me because I have looked for ages for "ltools" and never saw it and never could find it. Considering it was an exploit I didn't even bother looking under linux because I didn't need linux. So this amuses me because I have always been confused about how xbins stores files.. usually I just look around till I find what I am searching for (my ftp doesn't do that crafty ftp search). Heh, well your tutorial helped at least one person.. me.. about 8 months too late, but better late than never.
