Well, gobs of progress has been made. 826 lines of code, 4 rewrites, 3 layouts, and 1 month later, we're nearly done with XGuides itself. The guide is still a lil while away. And, more on that special feature I've been talking about!
For those of you who haven't had a hands on experience (most of you), XGuides is close to fully usable. Although our main purpose was to simply expedite and assist in the process of softmodding, our purpose and intentions have expanded beyond that.
What does this mean for you? At first, very little. We will start out with a Softmodding guide that will help even the newbiest newbie in the world. But, once we have all the bugs hammered out, we'll expand to far beyond that. We plan to explore all sorts of common problems people have. Installing Modchips, Case modding, hardware modding, everything under the sun.
Although a lofty goal, it is achievable. We're also allowing anyone to register, and submit there own tutorials, and possibly full fledged guides to XGuides. Anyone can register, and pending acceptance, become a moderator. A moderator can add tutorial (possibly guides), and allowing a Super administrator time to review it, be added onto the main site.
So, I hope you guys will bare with us. Although it's been a while, I hope it'll be well worth the wait!
