There will probably be alot less n00b posts. especially if the old tutorials about audio and old clock looping fonts exploits get taken down.

P.S nice rant

Sarge if your around. I have some of the tutorials written, however I cannot add them correctly to the xguides database because for some reason it won't allow me to create more than 1 option link. IE) I can only create a YES route - not Yes and No.
Anyhow, I could be doing something wrong so either PM me or I can speak with you later on IRC.

Hey again, all.  I just wanted to let you know that we're still working daily on XGuides!  But, I also want to let you know it's taking longer then expected.  Due to a myriad of problems, I've had to recode the entire site.  But, fret not, the new version should be done within the week!

Also, here's a screenshot!

Sorry for the large image size.

Also, you might wonder why I blurred out the address, and am not letting you guys see how it's coming along.  The reason for this is because, right now, it's not living up to my, and I'd assume your, expectations.  If I release it now, it would not be used at all, and there'd be a complete disinterest in it.

Sorry!

I'm sure RiceCake is not taken revenge on anybody or flaming noobs in generel. We all have to learn at some point, we were all noobs once. You never know enough about xbox hacking, or hacking in generel.

What is anoying are the noobs coming in here and not taking the time to learn the basics before blaming the hard working people that their tools and tutorials are no good.

Yea totally agree with u, ive spent weeks and weeks before actually making my first post, and reading here and there, and 3 days after i bought my xbox, i had an audio exploit succesfully running, sure there was some part i needed to guess but heh it WAS HELL WORTH IT biggrin.gif

Hell yea, I'm working on the Admin Control panel.  Also, there's a lil feature most of you guys won't expect in this.  More on that later!

Well, gobs of progress has been made.  826 lines of code, 4 rewrites, 3 layouts, and 1 month later, we're nearly done with XGuides itself.  The guide is still a lil while away.  And, more on that special feature I've been talking about!

For those of you who haven't had a hands on experience (most of you), XGuides is close to fully usable.  Although our main purpose was to simply expedite and assist in the process of softmodding, our purpose and intentions have expanded beyond that.

What does this mean for you?  At first, very little.  We will start out with a Softmodding guide that will help even the newbiest newbie in the world.  But, once we have all the bugs hammered out, we'll expand to far beyond that.  We plan to explore all sorts of common problems people have.  Installing Modchips, Case modding, hardware modding, everything under the sun.

Although a lofty goal, it is achievable.  We're also allowing anyone to register, and submit there own tutorials, and possibly full fledged guides to XGuides.  Anyone can register, and pending acceptance, become a moderator.  A moderator can add tutorial (possibly guides), and allowing a Super administrator time to review it, be added onto the main site.

So, I hope you guys will bare with us.  Although it's been a while, I hope it'll be well worth the wait!
