I just put 1.7.5 ltools on my box ...and when i go to play certain games im getting an error 21 ...any ideas on how to fix this??

I just bought an XBOX last week, undoubtedly, it is a version 1.6! I read that if I use the newest ltools I will be fine, but what worries me is that some people have said that the 1.6 boxes screen will go blank! If this is normal, someone please tell me so, and will the process still be successful even though I can't see what's going on! When does the screen image return and how big of an issue is this? BTW this is a NTSC box!

First off thanks much ipodder for this tut. I used 007 with multiple versions of the xbox...perfection. (the 1.6 version showed wierd colors rather than the scene with the penguin during installation but once the light was done blinking orange and began blinking green previous installations allowed me to know that it was done and I just turned off, then back on and viola!)

on question though ...does this interfer with xbox live?

couldnt i just go to m$ dashboard and go from there as usual without fear of dismissal from xbl?

obviously no burned games on live...
has anyone tried this?

There are no current softmods that are fool-proof with live, unfortunately. Some people have found that coldbooting an original will work, but I've never tried it and I'm not recommending it.

Hello...Well im a huge Noob to this stuff
I would really be grateful if Ipoder or Idots or someone with expirence could help me.

Well i have the ltools_v1.7.5_SC_NTSC and i unrared it to the parts 1 and parts 2..
BUT... But when i go to put it on my action replay card i do not find it under Splinter Cell!!! please help, i only rented SC untill Sunday...

I have read that part by podder on the first page (what to do if auto dosent work)
But im a noob and i get threw about half of the steps before i get lost! (the part were it talkes about extracting the self-extracting exe from SlAyErS) or somthin i have Craxtion, but again im a noob and im dumb... i really want this to work.

I dont know what to do Please help me!!! someone!!!

Are you trying to rar them back if so dont and zip them so you should see
in where you unrared them on your desktop UDATA correct.
Ok important do not put them in the same folder due to overwriting now!
make two folders 1 and 2 or whatever then unrar parts 1 to folder 1 and 2 to folder 2 then add in the update.xbe or zipped zip (note that the ltools will try and create one for you using whats on your xbox OK but if not the right one it will let you know so your good) Ready
So in the folders that you made 1 and 2 or whatever zip the folders that are within LISTEN it should start with UDATA OK.....
Now once you zip them transfer them over via memorycard 1 by 1 to the xbox then use the game to exploit and VIOLA

Well...maybe i said it wrong. I have all the files unrared (Part 1 and Part 2) BUT when i go to transfer the parts to my AR, my software dosent pick it up or somthing (it does not show up on my PC database on my AR software, under SC)
idk what to do... Im dumb, could someone make me a quick step by step or somthing!

I would be forever grateful.

If you unrar them then put into folders then zip them back into zip files then try and uninstall the AR software and go again or try different version of the AR software from codejunkies
When zipping the folders back into zip format right click on the UDATA and "add to archive" so your zip should start with the UDATA K? Keep posting if you have the problems there are awesome peeps in here to assist..

Hey this is that noob kid agin, well i have two folders on my desktop, (Part one folder, Part two folder) part one has the part one in it, and part two has part two in it...But i need to know exactly what to do from here, like step by step...idk how to rezip them either. or what file i need to add in with it.

i installed ltools on a 1.6 using the SC exploit, and i installed the UDE. Then i restarted (after the green light showed up), and saw the same screen (the one with install/uninstall and other stuff), so i chose run mini-linux, and now i have a weird green screen with blue on the top and it's been the same for a while. Is it safe to restart?
UPDATE:It's been about an hour and it's still orange/yellowish around the eject button.

Alright, HelpMePlease, I'm not sure I understand. I think what you're saying is that the Splinter Cell saves aren't showing up under PC database... that's normal. Just drag and drop them from your desktop straight to the memory card part (on the left). Simple as that.

skwerlfish, I don't want to be responsible for screwing up your xbox, but I'd say just restart it. I can't imagine any process of ltools that would take that long. If your xbox gets screwed up though, not my fault. It's just what I would do after an hour.
