QUOTE (RiceCake @ Jul 25 2004, 05:09 PM)
Hearing "Admin Interface" and "43 Lines" has just passed what I ever expected you to do SargeZT - it sounds like its gonna kick some real ass!

Do you think it would be possible to make a few accounts for the admin interface your working on too? Just incase I get some people to help keep it up I don't want to give them complete access or the FTP password and end up "losing" data.

Other than that I know the guys at http://www.fileblitz.com and might be able to sneak an account. I also know the guy who runs http://www.negative0.net but his servers can be tricky at times (Edit: Like the fact that its down right now). I have another host that I've been doing work on, should be able to get all I need from them if I really have to also.

If anyone else knows a real bad-ass host I could get an account from PM me or something.

RiceCake, my hosting that I have probably wouldn't work if you need mysql (I think the unlimited bandwidth was good, but I forgot to tell you that the guy has little to no knowledge of how to get me some databases)

Here's a free host, I've heard good reviews about it from another board.

Here

Sounds kind of shifty, I know, but the tech guys say it's great.  Has one mysql.

Anyhow I'm also looking for anyone who knows Photoshop or image editing to make a sweet logo for the site. I could make one but it might look like crap.

All I'm looking for is one that mentions 'One-Stop-Spot For Exploits' and looks nice and high-tech.

Indeed.  Hey, I have a logo I whipped up, I'm gonna try just posting it off of my computer.  Lets see!

Of course, the title is tentative, it just sounded nice in my head.

I overused green a little bit, but otherwise it incorporates all the design elements.

(If it sucks, let me know :)

Lol, better than I could do.

I think that big X looks a little weird though. (Like the design its on top of)

What i gather from the images is that there will be drop downs for options to be selected kernel version etc... and thatll pull all the mini tuts together into a personalized tut per individual settings... If so, thats rather KICK ASS

Yeah, same here.  I made a new version that I think looks better, though.  By the way, Rice, get on IRC and I'll show you how the site's working thus far.

My style is shit.  'nuff said.  My logo sucks, but it's enough to start putting together a layout.

I reieved a private message from devzero awhile ago and this One-Stop-Spot might be going in a wild turn.

I'll have to see what happens.

Alright maybe I got little carried away. This is your deal; you should do it any way you see fit. I couldn't build a tutorial site to save my life. But I would still like to chirp in and give my 2 cents as a newbie. I remember learnig how to operate a software program from a tutorial program that was interactive, it really taught me better than descriptions could have. As a newbie it would blow me away if some one did something like this, the program can be found at www.debugmode.com/wink/. Try the tutorial that taught me how to use the DVDShrinkprogram, which can be found at:(www.dvdshrink.info/fulldisk_basic.php)
