OLD Tutorial for Downgrading Dash
« on: July 20, 2004, 01:47:00 PM »

i don't have office or word, and that file won't download - but if that uses a font exploit... then it sucks... no offense but this will be just another outdated tutorial that people will read, go with sucky exploits, and come crying when they are stuck in a loop...

unless this tutorial uses audio, then it's all good tongue.gif but pbl 1.3 is ooolldd

I'm sure you worked very hard on that tutorial and all and no offence but it is really really outdated and to be honest I think it will confuse people more then it helps them. There has been so much of development lately and this just doesn't fit in that picture.

He didn't mean it bad. It's just that tutorials in general are bad if stuff like pbl 1.3 or old fonts are in them. It doesn't mean the tutorial setup/layout is bad though. But could you please remove that link and maybe use your skills to write a more up to date tutorial or something.

no, i appreciate the work you have put into that tutorial, but it is a great annoyance when people get stuck in a clock loop... and you have to help them get out, when there is a way better exploit available that boots faster and has way less risk...

Yes, this definately would have been a great tutorial a year ago. I will edit the thread title to fit the thread a bit. No need to delete the link, as long as people know what it's all about. However, I'm not going to put it into the pinned thread.

BTW, yoshikool - I love how you've jumped over 70 posts within one day. Are you actually helping? or just trying to spam up threads to jump your posts up?

Okay if that is your intention could you then only put in the gamesave part and remove the bert and ernie crap. also you might want to note that there are newer/better/more stable/compatible versions of pbl around.

Angerwound: i'd say a big part of that was the spamming earlier... i asked in a thread before if devz3ro would decrease or kill my post count because of that... i guess i'll ask again here... probably around 45 spam and 30 helping...
