Your K:5713 xbox is a 1.4 correct? I believe that configmagic works on it, but I am unsure.

Instead of following the readme to replace your EEPROM, you should be able to understand how to change your EEPROM from region 4 to region 1 by reading through it. I have never attempted such a thing myself, so I cannot give any advice, but here is what I believe should be correct:

Remember I have never performed this, so try this operation at your own risk.

Also note that there may be more steps involved as the original tutorial loads the EEPROM from a bin file and this is editing the one already on the xbox.

When Configmagic finally loads, it will show your current EEPROM on your Xbox. Make a note of the DVD KIT ZONE and VIDEO AND XBE REGION information.

"PAL, Region 4" for UK Xbox gamers

Select "LOAD XBOX EEPROM" in the menu.
Go into the menu and choose "ON-THE-FLY EDIT EEPROM". Change the VIDEO AND XBE REGION number information.
Now, select "UPDATE XBOX EEPROM" in the menu.
Your Xbox's EEPROM will now be updated.

maybe cuz you got the version that only loads up the nkpatcher. With metoo pbl u will have bios igr.

not for 1.6 as it doesn't cary a bios that supports the excalibur chip. but for 5713 kernels it should be fine.

Yeah, PBL-Lite won't load BIOSes on 5530+ kernels whereas the new FBL and PBL Metoo will... But atm there still isn't a BFM evox m8 is there?

I could easily upgrade PBL-Lite to work on 5530+ kernels but I believe Metoo is just as fast, has no s-video and controller problems either, so I myself consider PBL-Lite obsolete. I anyone disagrees I could make the update when time allows it.
