No! The M8-BIOSes in PBL-packs are 'BFM'-encoded and will not boot from a chip!

If you want M8 for your MOD-chip, get it from the BIOS-section at the usual places.

What's wrong with 1.3? That's what I'm using right now and I haven't seen any problems so far. Is it highly recommended that I switch back to 1.2 or is it only a minor bug?

i got a cristal edition xbox, and already have soft moded it using the uxe method, it's working pretty good on a 5838 kernel, the question is, is there a way to change my bios rom, so i can load x2 bios instead of evoxm8? i'm asking this since i have problems to play LOTR two towers on the cristal xbox, and i got a xbox 1.1 with x2, and LOTR works just fine... i've downloaded a x2_4977_bfm bios, but i guess i still need the rc4 key and epprom key or something like that, am i right? anyway someone can PM me or reply on how to get those please?

change from PBL to NKpatcher on the crystal xbox.. then you dont have to worry about bioses...

rmenhal, is there any chance you could get the code you used to make the m8 you used in metoo have live blocking to nghtshd so he could add it into evtool so we can all patch m8plus/m8plus_16 with it and have a non-BFM version of a BIOS that works on 1.6 xbox and has xbox live blocking?
