Well i just got a quick question im probly totally wrong but oh well

Does this mean that say i have a v1.6 xbox
I grab this PBL ME and wait for a M8 BFM bios
then i put this with UDE
so i could have UDE like people with dashes 4920 can have it or whatever ??
im kinda confused

if you have a 1.6 NTSC you could use the UDE2 with PBL metoo/m8 bios. iT's around allready.

Pretty much would i be able to do evrything just like the TSOP has?

cuz my friend has like a v1.3 or 4 and he can have UDE and its just like a TSOP
so if i did this for a 1.6 would it be just like his also ?

Ok, I am using this with ude2 on K:3715 xbox v 1.4 but I have the following problems. On the evo-x it doesn't list any bios but i'm sure it's using m8. I launch the back up of NFS:underground and it runs fine and the L, R trigger back start IGR works. This leads me to believe the m8 bios is running as i have IGR turned off in evo-x. So why doesn't the evo-x screen show the m8 bios?

Also even though I have selected not to launch for dvd drive it always does on start up or reboot even with back up or original. I expect this for original but for back ups i want it to boot to the dash so i can use igr to reset to dash and then put in another backup w/o having to reboot, power off the console.

M8 package v1.2 contains bios images with improved game compatibility (e.g. Crimson Skies should work now). The package contains two bios images: eject-trick version and eject-fix version.

The eject-fix never resets on eject (the same behaviour is in previous m8pack versions).

Eject-trick doesn't reset on eject if:
* Boot to dashboard
* Title ID of the loaded XBE is 0xffffe000 (dashboard ID)
* The media flag 0x80000000 is present in the loaded XBE

Eject-trick works otherwise the same as the original M8 bios release except that the reset-on-eject doesn't get stuck. In the original M8 once ROE gets set it can't be disabled.

yeah the pbl works fine on 1.6 xboxes. You don't need to touch the asm source files. The hanging on the ms logo is usually caused by wrong/not fully working UDE fonts. Read the readme that came with it. Also make sure you have a dash where the bios can boot to like c:\evoxdash.xbe

ok i sort of understand what u r saying, i just recently had the problem with screen flickersing constatly in grey color, everything else is working fine.
I got the m8 bios that this req.
i cant seem to find the Phoenix Bios Loader the metoo edition.
i am sort of new to softmodding so can some1 help me out, or is there a guide to do this step by step?

it's pbl metoo with included evo-x m8 bios. it also comes with evtool. very useful to edit your bios to fit your needs (LBA48 support, IGR, dashboard loading order/locations,...)
