I think your misunderstood.
The M8 is a bios.

FBL is a bios loader.

The 2 go hand-in-hand.

As far as I am aware PBL Meetoo & M8 have no issues with any xbox version.

There is a pack Pbl Meetoo M8Plus v1.4.1 at the usual spots

tongue.gif) I have the sources to try to update fbl myself for my own usage and just to tinker around, but i don't have freexdk and i can't find it anywhere for the life of me...dry.gif

so i'm wondering is there a way to compile this with the openxdk or even the ms xdk, so it can continue to be updated much more easily, instead of keeping it on the now hard to find obsolete freexdk?

can anyone tell me why i am getting the error of

Calculating 2bl entry point
Memory unsafe to access
Fault location: 0x8053006f
Death point: 2 (2bl entry point calculation)

I have a moded box with a tsop flash of x2 4983? (cant recall exact build off the top of my head right now) and an i can no longer flash the tsop for some reason i think maybe its just a bad soldering job, so im trying to use FBL or PBL to load the m8 bios. What are your opinions on the m8 bios vs x2? Is this even worth switching too? Is it possible to make a BFM x3 bios? Is there a general consensus of what the best bios is to use? Seems like there are alot of choices now a days. Im sure I can answer all of these questions by reading the forums, which i will do- but I cant find anything about this error code posted. Any help is appreciated, also i get the same error message with pbl/fbl.

There's no need to have both FBL and NKPatcher running.  Both are used for the same things.  Running unsigned code and LBA48 support.  They just accomplish it in different ways where FBL and PBL are bios loaders and NKPatcher is a kernal patcher.
