sorry, but i dont think any are, since not many read the exploits forums...

Well a frend of minde use it to load a BIOS with IGR support (I don't want to flash his BIOS and he wants to use a BIOS with IGR so it works fine now biggrin.gif) and it certainley is a great solution for 1ste generation modchips/Cheapmods.

I don't have acces to my Xbox right now but I already made my config file biggrin.gif

Ther is no need for it just make sure your Config file is oke and you have filled in all the RC4 stuff.
Check if the .xbe the bios try's to load exist and recheck it. Run it as a Application from the dashboard to try it and make sure the bios is in the correct place.

And most of all ... Read the README wink.gif It solves about 99% of the problems and reading the readme is a lot faster than waiting until some nice guy takes the time to help you out.

Please try the latest experimental BETA (Beta For Testing) with BIOS-loading support for kernels 5530 and above by rmenhal. Remember to supply all necessary keys...

Download default.xbe and boot.cfg. Default.xbe is habibi-signed.

I suppose this is not terribly exciting to all since my K is 5101 but I can report full success and a pleasent time had by all with the Frosted Bios loader, specifically the Fatboot.cfg.  Cheers  beerchug.gif  beerchug.gif    Tomilius ..... Thanks!!!

No problem. I'm working on some simple things and 1.0 should be out tomorrow. Don't mark my words though. The Xbox can be troublesome...

Again 100% success on the K 5101 for me. RC1 seems to be solid. I am using Updatefonts 6, just for proper info. Also using the fat boot.cfg. Hey, why not enjoy all the frosting you can?
Very nice coding. Thanks again....... Being rid of PBL (as nice as it was) gives me that spring clean fresh feel..... oh boy!

Forgive my n00bnes but I remember seeing .bat files to split a bios and I just wondered if their were any .bat files to make a bios BFM s we could BFM the new M8 BIOS without waiting until BiosTool supports it.

I think you should be seeing a BFM EvoX M8 very soon.

Then I'll wait for that biggrin.gif

I've been reading the configuration.htm, but i just can't figure out the proper config for making fbl load a different bios on traystate open?

Can someone please post the proper config for loading an alternate bios on traystate I would really appreciate it, TIA

Love FBL and you've done a great job, and i'll assume you were being modest when you initially said the task would be over your head.

But... Yeah I know there's always a but...

Some of the options in the config I think you could get rid of...

Such as MethodL, I believe you said setting this to false would crash the box, so why include it as an option?

And Novideo would give corruption on bios load, so why bother with that one? Unless it's for some type of compatibility issue across kernel versions

Um ClearBeforeLaunch, you're description is Clears the framebuffer before the launching of an XBE. There's no reason to.  If there's no reason too, you should take that option out...

Those are just some examples and opinions of mine... In the end it's your work and you ultimately decide what goes into (or out of) it.

Please do not take this the wrong way, just some constructive critisim is all i'm giving here...

Forgive me if this as already been asked, what do you use to compile FBL? OpenXDK?

edit: Also, would it be possible to close the tray before booting an XBE with TrayState 1?
