There is only two dashboard exploits, they are:

Font
Audio

Within these come different types of font exploits, and different types of audio exploits. Please rephrase next time (no I don't mean post again).

prolly the best way to put this thread is

b&e fonts (all)
audio (conventional)
bigfonts (all)
audio (fixed verson by devzero) (that was you, right?)
mechfonts (all versoins)
double dash
Easter Egg
UDE

personally, i like the ude best, it's the latest, and greatest, strong & active development

UDE and the swapless audio CD hacks are by far the best, with UDE fronting, although if it gets corrupt you can be in a real spot.

The old font hacks suffer from deadly problems, double dash had reset on eject and very specific dashboard issues, gamesaves have reset on eject, old audio hacks require an audio CD and sometimes corrupted - and also disable the in game audio features, and the easter egg hack was just a hack on a new dashboard - requiring even more finger dancing...

UDE is definly the best one around.
Easy, feature loaded, no need to learn a finger dance and stable as hell!

I meant if somehow you mess up the fonts or break your dashboard in UDE or some friekish situation, you can be in alot of trouble, unless you have a backup like a gamesave exploit.

That or if you lose the clock and its screwed well, hotswap time.

(I knew RiceCake's post would cause alarm.)

No, a correctly installed UDE doesn't suffer from the clock loop!.

RiceCake is referring to an exceptional set of circumstances that would need to occur.  And even if they did occur, you could still get out of the situation with a hot swap.
