Just a thought to help my self figure this out.

What are the defualt dash boot orders and dash names in the ltools_MA_1.8RC1 bios files found in the package in the usual (IRC) place.

I tried all the different bios's and whatnot and still it just booted me the MS dash. The only thing I think it does is backup your C drive to the E drive. Oh one of the bios's wouldnt even let me select it. The one you choose with thy Y button, cant rember which one it is off the top of my head. Kept pressing it and nothing would happen.

It was not installed right.. I just got it to work a few hours ago. When it didnt install correctly, it did the same thing. It should go straight to the new dash with disc drive closed. I believe I fixed it when I downgraded the dash and the update.xbe with slayers.

I have a question also...

Will this package "cold boot"? So I will be able to go on live if I boot up the xbox with the original disc in the drive? Do all of these xbe exploits do this?

I should uninstall only to update the dash on the first connect to live, correct?

Question?
When running mxm mated with ltools I got mxm to produce a 300meg size file. Now just having a problem getting the file into a image file for shadowC.
I have tried several attempts within the ...hdm (linux) but with no luck.
I have the 1.4.1 metoo and the nkpatcher10 for the ltools package. Size of the package may be a problem so.... However, has anyone had a chance to mess with updates. Ldots we need you on this one! Cant wait to see what you can do within days as I have been scratching a hole in my head for weeks.

I used the ITools SC package and it's been "installing" for 12 hours...When do I give up and turn it off? From the other walkthroughs I've read it sounds like you should never ever turn it off untill is says it is safe to do so.

- The lights on the Xbox flash Orange and Green
- The TV Screen goes blank but the Xbox remains on.

Well it's been sitting there with a blank screen and a flashing green led all night. Time to reboot?

I have a v1.1 and a newer dashboard(auto downgraded by package. right?)
And picked UDE2, PBL-Metoo, Evox M8 bios, Evox.

Edit: ever mind I'm just a pussy. rebooted and everything is fine.

Hi
I am having problems loading UDE2

I have an Xbox 1.0 with K 5101 and D 5960 when I try to load it via Mechassault I go to the Campaign selection and select Run Linux and it says "Unable to Load <Run Linux> Press A to Continue"

I have followed the tutorial to the letter, what can cause this?

any help would be great,
