Idiots:

Question:
Why does you're .xbe scanner don't scan on HDD drive F: and G:??

I started it for looking for exploitable .xbe's, it scans all standard xbox partitions; except F: and G:???

Because i and some of my friends made much game backups to partition F: or G:, so maybe there is an exploitable file too? possibley the wanted UDE3 PAL .xbe hack

We wanted to find exploitable xbe's that run from the HDD (have a certain media flag in the xbe header). That would mean files that were most likely not found on game DVD's but was put on the HDD by Xbox Live. Live means running a retail bios, hence no F: and G: drives.

I want to hotswap my XBOX (PAL, v1.4 or 1.5 I think) D:5659, K:5713 because I don't have any of the exploitable games. My question is how can be this done. When I hotswap I think that I can't change the region. Or is it possible? When the exploit is installed on the HDD and the region is 4 is it possible to telnet to the xbox to change the region? I didn't find this answers here in the forum.

Here we have another crappy softmod. Any softmod package that requires installing the XBox HDD inside a PC is garbage!

wow this guy is an idiot.

Screw mem cards... you have to open the box and use this software to change HDD anyway.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find UDE 1.4? I have checked the usual places and have only come up with UDE Package 2, which I have tried with Xboxhdm to no avail.

Thanks!

ok after alot of reading and searching.

I now have update.xbe and I have patched it usinging the UXE patching files.
so thats 1 major problem out of the way.

What no one seems to be saying (that i have seen anyway)
is do we still unzip the ube1.4 file into the xboxhdm linux dir, then just stick our patched update.xbe file in there, and update the fonts.

or do we not even use UBE now and just put our update.xbe and font files in the c: dir in xboxhdm?

By the way, in my previous post, I selected UDE1, PBL Metoo, Evox M8 Bios, and Evox Dashboard in the softmod process.  Does anyone else run into this problem before ? Please help.

Thanks again.
