yes you can
make sure it's unziped when you do
in E:\UDATA

but if your going to that then just do the whole thing at once

I'm making preparatons to softmod using the AUF exploit.
Just wondering if I can use an iPod shuffle and a xbox usb cable to take care of all the transferring of file saves etc, will the xbox auto-format the ipod the same way it would a regular usb jump drive?
will I need any more equipment beyond a modded xbox and an original copy of the game?

hay man im at school right now but im a modder i can proble upload you some of my mods i made mostly and some spawnes like out side the map some inside the map so probly do it some time around 5 or 6 oclook

do i need a program to ftp
i have some smartftp v1.5 or somthing but when i put in xbox xbox it just keeps trying to connect
i have a modem that is a router to will that work or should i hook the cat5 straight to my computer

I just recently got my XBox modded about 3 months ago. I replaced my hard drive to a 300G HD. I must admit it is pretty sweet. So far, i have no complaints. I got with a buddy of mine that actually had it modded for me for free as a favor. Only thing about this is i do not know the process that was taken to do it. I read through all the forums, and i have the usb adapter along with the games agent under fire and mech assault, and all the emulators, dashboards, programs, etc is on my modded xbox. So that i know i can transfer to a new box. This is where my problem begins: I am taking an old XBOX with a fried 4G HD, i will be replacing it with a new 200G HD. What is the process needed? What do i need to do? (I am on this forum because the guy who modded my box won't tell me his little secret on modding.) Thanks to anyone who can assist me with this problem.

Very good help. I already ordered Splinter Cell at Ebay. And I also already have a "Max Drive" Thats something like the Action Replay with a an USB Stick and an Adapter for a Controller port. Does that work?

And can someone tell me, which versions of Xboxes can be softmodded and where can I see, which version I have? Because I dont want to do that whole thing just to see, that it doesnt work

Ok this may sound retarded, which it really is........But when i was doing the soft mod, while backing my HD up my x-box froze, now i have no DASH i think, everytime i turn the x-box on it goes to the chinese screen is there ANY way i can fix that?
