well, if you can get ftp access, which u can, you can transfer games, appz etc etc to your stock hd then sign em then run them through the exploit?

Yes, it would work. It would be a rather limited number of games he could fit on 5 Gb though, but for appz it should be OK...

well....considering ALL crystal xboxes are atleast k = 5713 theres no way you can use ANY exploit apart from GAMESAVE!

xbedump springs to mind, apart from that, i dont really know exactly, have a ruff idea though.

Sign the font exploit with default.xbe which will create a out.xbe which u rename to defualt.xbe etc etc??

No, you need to use 'some' exploit!

Signing means putting a known signature in the default.xbe that goes together with the key in the xbox memory. We dont know the MS key that would let us run homebrew without any exploit...

You can run homebrew/backups on your crystal xbox, but you have to run a game save exploit first. Using game save hack you cannot eject the DVD drive without resetting the xbox. Therefore your homebrew soft has to be on the xbox HDD (put there by ftp), which limits the amount of backups you can run without exhanging them (only 5 Gb of free HDD).

Would i be correct in saying that I can run homebrew games without a dash downgrade?

I am not too bothered about only having a couple of games on my XBOX HDD.

Dont know if there is a tut. for that.

- Get an exploitable game (MA,007,SC)
- Get a game save hack with Evox (from you know where)
- Find a way to get the game save on your xbox (hotswap, memcard (usb dongle, modded xbox))
- sign your app's default.xbe with xbedump (-habibi).
- Upload to xbox with ftp after running game save hack. Have evox configured (evox.ini) to look for apps where you upload to.

Do you have a way to get the game save hack on the xbox?

If you have a modded xbox, then get Evox, MXM or any other ftp capable program running. Unzip your game save hack and ftp the game save to the modded xbox (E:\UDATA).

Go to the ms dash on the modded xbox, put the memcard in the controller and use the memory function to transfer the game save to your mem card.

Now just go to your unmodded xbox and transfer the game save to this box - again using the MS dash memory option.

You need the original game every time you need to run the game save exploit...
That means on each boot/reboot/eject
