But youd be better off making an action replay cable and getting a memory card if you dont have the guts to hot swap, its the best way really faster, safer, easier!

Hot swapping is cool, just dont do it while u r wearing steel toe caps....
May check out this new softmod soon, still using BOBW atm, think ill wiat until the issues with this one are sorted....good work the mkjones!

If yer happy with MXM there really is no need to change to this the only advantage is the memory card install AND you can swap dashboards using the config manager..

I am indeed more than happy wiv BOBW, but like u mentioned changing dashes is what im after...Im not too confident wiv softmods, is there anyway of hexeding sumthing to get pbl to poin to tHc dash rather than mxm? then i oculdl just have a link to mxm from thc to switch? that would be awsome...again, thanks for this sweet package!

If you want tHc then I would wait for my next release it should have that as an option, at the moment I have tHc lite working with it if that helps anyone I could perhaps do something with that?

Sorry if im repeating myself, but is there any one file that points to mxm that I could just hexedit or sumthin? Its just im well happy running BOBW cause its wicked and id rather not have 2 go changing it all again cause I h8 hotswapping wen I get it rong

this only works for cannot do something error blah blah..

when u first get it loaded it brings u to 2 options. goto the first 1. then choose to install the audio db and then the exploit itself. make a db if u dont know if u have 1. then after that do the install. if it gives u an error click ok and when u can choose between yes or no choose NO. goto setings or what ever and then goto file manager then remove the audio db stuff. all of it. then try it again.


it seems if it hangs on unarchieving it  works the second time but it will not continue if there isnt a db to rename. so by removing the db and adding a stock 1 it will continue w/o a hitch. has worked on 2 xbox's that have had an error.

i doubt it works. how would u get it on there? and why not down grade your dash. u will get banned if u have them on and attempt to long into live will u not?

Just out of curiosity what version of MXM are you using?
In the most recent 096 beta i dont see a "UNZIP" action in the available action scripts?

You could just replace the MXM default.xbe with tHc lite, its not as simple as it sounds however as you would have to somehow find a way back to MXM to get back to the font switch

I use the latest xectutor BIOS (4981) and PBL 1.4.1 so it shouldnt be a focus issue?

Did you follow the FTP instructions precicely?

Also, I know people are having some issues with the Memorycard install, this is one of the reasons I made SURE I had an FTP tutorial in the Readme. I am going to start messing around with UnleashX some more to see what the real issues are and see if I can fix them so it works for everyone. Its such a shame its hit and miss sometimes

Hopefully with all the feedback I can make the next version work better from memory card

Yup! Thats why the switch for me was so simple

Problem is, the batch scripting in Unleash isnt as feature packed as actionscript in MXM, so little things like telling the user which hack is active or doing if statements on files are  not possible..

In fact, if MXM gained a file browser and Zip/Rar support, I would probably move back and start using that

I followed the directions exactly....word for word. I dont think it's a memory card issue, Never had problems with mordens or the catfish combo. I tried memory card and copying files via Ftp, I get either a scrambled screen or a blank screen....I can here the echo noise from the ms dash though. Hmm?    Im as confused as ever? So you installed VIA FTP? and did the combo? and you got a black screen yes?? Did you see PBL load? It should have looked like a black screen with some small text with the words "By Yoshimorio" or whatever it says..

If PBL isnt loading it could be a BIOS issue with your xbox? But I cant see it? Its the latest executor?? Keep trying man! Il be here to help out.. PM me if you need any extra help..

Yeh man UnleashX is a really great dash! Keyboard support, file browser, format options, its amazing

As for the FILEEXISTS its not in there man, the scripting is very basic Batch style.. its all copy/delete etc, nothin fancy.. but it DOES have the most important thing UnZip Without which the package would not work.. It is however a little buggy as we are seeing...
