Thank u!!!

Hey why don't you just use the UDE and you will never have to worry about a clock loop again. End of story.

Because you can't use live, end of story.  Doubledash however works fine with live and cannot get into a loop.

Yeah untill live updates your dash to 5960 and kills your nice double dash. By the way UDE combined with easter egg works fine on live and with the newest dash.

Does it display an error number in the corner? If so what is the number.

Nope, there's no perfect way to escape a loop.

Hi all. I have done several mods, but am unfamiliar with softmodding. I have a client that is stuck in a clock loop. Can I just put in a modchip, and reformat the HD to stock? Or even put in a new HD?

well SICKdimension, you have many options, you can fix/update the current softmod, by that I mean installUDE/UDE2, you could just turn his xbox back to stock, ro you could put a modchip in, format and lock a HD for him and install UDE?UDE2(use Ldots hdmaker)
Edit: I am going to guess the client had an older soft mod like bigfons or B and E reloaded...

Well, I want to stay away from softmodding. I would TSOP it. So can I just chip it and boot from a cd, then reformat the hd? That should take care of everything, right?

I have ran into the clock loop. My xbox keeps restarting. Will adding a mod chip fix this problem? What solderless chip do you recommend? Thanks!!!

Just found a new way to get out of loop. Just before the system is going to reboot, push the eject button..and there you go, instant start-up. Have to have good timing... grr.gif so best of luck. beerchug.gif

Can someone confirm this?
