Just found a new way to get out of loop. Just before the system is going to reboot, push the eject button..and there you go, instant start-up. Have to have good timing... grr.gif so best of luck. beerchug.gif

I tried all other things and they didn't work (except for hotswap) but this eject thing worked!

thanks.

Ok so I am stuck in a clock loop.  I have modded my XBOX with a chip.  The chip shows on the boot, but I am still in the clock loop.  What do I do next?

I just did the eject method, it worked for me, but he was right--you have to time it.  For me I had to press the button about half a second before Micro$oft logo came up because it took a sec for the tray to get ready to eject or something... just screw with it for a while, i had to do it about 7 times

ok lets make it simple for people who cant get to ms dash YET
you can fix that.

search for the backup of fonts(THE REAL FONTS [original ones])
create a folder on c:
name the folder f0nts 0(NUMBER)

download this free tool
hexeditor
http://www.hhdsoftwa...d/hexedfull.exe

get from c: this file
msxboxdash.xbe

put it on your pc

open the hex editor
load the msxboxdash.xbe

go to edit in the hex program
in the BYTE case put this line
66 00 6f 00 6e 00 74 00 73

gonna find this fonts change the o(letter) to 0(number)
f0nts <== like this

search again in the BYTE case
66 00 6f 00 6e 00 74 00 73
till you find and edit all the fonts you found to f0nts

save the file and pass it to the xbox and replace it with the new one.

and walla no more problems.
XD

i recommend doing this THE 1st time u load the exploit, so you dont gonna get more problems NEVER.

Modchips are Nice and would Love To Have One but don't have the Cash for that and for all you ppl like me softmod is not a Bad thing.

Alot of Modchip Users will  Piss on Softmod Users just becouse they think if you softmod your Xbox thats more or less Killing it.
thats Far from the Truth,
Owell if you ever get in to a clock loop don't go all Nuts on your Xbox just Read up on it and try every thing.

Pss..... Remeber If you just keep yous Xbox pluged up you will never get in to a Clock Loop. (you can unplug it) if you need to unplug it make sure you plug it back in befor 45mins some Xbox's can last longer but if you don't want to find out how long yours last for make sure you plug it back in befor 45mins  wink.gif

Fix:
7. If all else fails, then gain access to your Xbox HD, disable the fonts, set the time and then turn them back on again.

Is there any tutorials or anything out there that shows the easiest or best way to Hot Swap and fix the clock?

Useing
ernie_and_bert_reloaded ,
Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader_V1.3,
EvolutionX Build 3935

Have a Xbox V 1.0
Stock HD

Had a Clock Loop but just hooked up the Network cord to router then let it keep reloading till it gave up and booted in to EVOX took about 2-3 hours

DoNot give up after only 1hour  let it keep restarting at most for 5hours if not fixed after that try All Athere stuff.

Ps... after fixed just keep your Xbox pluged up not really that hard  wink.gif

If you install UXE, you'll never get a clock loop either.
Why is this still a problem? There's no reason to still be using these outdated hacks.

I have a question .... probably gonna get told to shut up cause there's no way it could be done!!

Would it be possible to implement a simple circuit with a cmos battery (or relevant battery) that would continually power the xbox much the same way that the cmos battery in a PC works???
