well i read about the exploits... and the audio exploit sounds safer, but my dash is 5659-03... my kernel is a 3944-01... how hard is it to roll back the dash?
btw... when you release the finished product, will you give the choice of the audio hack, or the font hack, or will it be font hack default *i dont want to risk a clock loop*
and one last question from this noob... what is the program useable with the usb memory sticks, *action replay definatly doesnt work* will Xbox Saves Manager work when they get their site back up? or is there another program to read and write to a FatX formatted drive... thanx guys

Not very hard at all... just get an evox gamesave exploit to gain FTP access. Then download Slayer's EvoX and extract the iso. Backup your C: partition on your Xbox to your PC. Delete the C: partition on the Xbox and copy over ALL the files from Slayer's (System/All/C) to your C: drive. Double check to make sure they are all there and that they are all on root C: before resetting. smile.gif

What like Catfish?

FATNTASTIC NEWS, err, when you say YOU have done it? ummm, catfish did this MONTHS ago (based on the compression by the xbox-linux team IIRC) is this the same implementation?

I'd be interested to see this, happy to test for you as well. I'd especially like to see how you compressed the fonts compared to the MA fonts smile.gif

Ahh yes, I wasnt sure if catfish had actually done this, from what I had read you had to FTP the fonts in?

Anyway, catfish uses an evox only package, i guess the only read difference is this has the option of booting 2 other dashes?

*BUMPY BUMP*

I am one of the beta testers and this is a great package.  I currently used Mordiens and this is just as easy.  Plus it includes the fonts, and 3 different Dashboards all in one, and fits on an 8 meg mem card!

Suggestions/Comments have been sent to you mkjones...

smile.gif it should be out in a couple of days smile.gif

I just need to test it a little more.. also there was a major bug in the beta! I forgot to rename the main zip file sad.gif so that caused hassle...

and yes, I will release instructions for non MA users, sorry but I dont have 007 so I cant make a package for that sad.gif not just yet anyway!

Thats about that smile.gif

OK, I dont need anymore testers smile.gif I think the ones that have the package in its current state are fine, shame about the bug i left in there  sad.gif

The remove features are added but not fully tested, some other ideas are a C drive back up to the gamesave folder and maybe a larger package that would be installed via FTP...

The package that will be released probably by the end of the week uses the latest xecutor bios (4282?) I dont have the info at hand right now, it will install 3 dashboards "UnleashX" "Evox" and "MXM" each dash has a link back to the "Config Manager" wich is where you need to go to turn on/off the fonts and audio hacks to your liking and also change your defaulr dash, all using a simple menu..

thats about it, hopefully the testers wil all get back to me this week and i can get it out!
