Ok so finally after all my troubles I decided to to the font exploit  with bert and ernie reloaded fonts and  use the default.xbe from the freex evox folder.  ok so i followed a tutorial that said rename  xtf's to old  and insert bert and ernie .xtf in font folder and then insert the default.xbe into the system folder. So i did this and to my surprise it works, but since the font exploit is dangerous I want to change to the audio exploit thru  the ftp and restore/rename all the other xtf's and get rid of defualt.xbe and bert and ernie.xtf.  so that is exactly what i did .  I  got rid of bert and ernie fonts, renamed the .old files  back to xtf files, and deleted the defualt.xbe.  Now my buddy gave me a rar file that has the new audio hack that doesn't mess up  the files are these:

st.db
exploit
boot.cfg
pheonix.raw
xboxrom.bin
evox.ini
evoxdash.xbe.

ok so after i made all the changes mentioned above  I followed his instructions which was:
Installation via ftp
- ------------
* Copy the file ST.DB into E:\TDATA\fffe0000\music\
* Copy the file exploit into E:\
* Copy the file boot.cfg into E:\
* Copy the file phoenix.raw into E:\
* Copy the file xboxrom.bin into E:\
* Copy the file evox.ini into C:\
* Copy the file evoxdash.xbe into C:\

Installation hdd-driver
- ------------
* Copy the file ST.DB into audio\TDATA\fffe0000\music\
* Copy the file exploit into "audio"
* Copy the file boot.cfg into "audio"
* Copy the file phoenix.raw into "audio"
* Copy the file xboxrom.bin into "audio"
* Copy the file evox.ini into "audio"
* Copy the file evoxdash.xbe into "audio"


well i followed the part that said thru ftp.  and when i ftp'd his evox.ini  it overwrote the one already present(is this my problem?)

so then i reboot and i get the xboxdash again
i try to copy an audio cd then newsoundtrack and it says pheonix and is kinda grainy pic with the logo moving around side to side then it goes black then nothing.when I try again i get this time  a pheonix icon then it quickly goes away into a black screen.  I think i'm getting messed up somewhere with the placement of the files. Does anyone have any idea?  I want to use the files he gave me so I don't got to use font exploit but since I can never see that 4th partition on my xbox drive in hdd driver  I opted to do the font exploit first so then i could have acess to ftp then I could change the font exploit over to the new audio one.  any ideas?  thanks in advance
