Yes, it's very simple just make sure your MXM .xbe is called default.xbe... Some people forget the simplest things, get error 21's and freak out.

You don't HAVE to delete the mxm files you could rename them and use MXM to boot evox if you ever would like - evox does have it's advantages sometimes. IE. Trainers - Just please double check everything before you reboot your box so you don't get that cursed error 21.

Yes you could also do this - actually i would suggest it if you already have evox running just fine.

To tell you the truth I have never even played THUG and if you haven't had trouble with gamesaves on any other game it has to be an issue with this title - try d/l a gamesave for thug off of the internet - throw it on your box and then load that one - see what happens...

Try using the xtf2xft.rar file that was posted by a fellow member - never used it but may be easier than manually hex editing the files - if you plan to just hex edit then change your original font files to xbox.xft and xbox book.xft - then open your msxboxdash.xbe in the editor - search for the .xft string - it should be found twice - replace ( on the right side ) where it says "xtf" to "xft" at each find. once again there should only be two if i remember correctly. save your files. and then try and load it through evox. lemme know how it goes

Ewww... That patcher must not work too well. Like I said I am unsure for I have never used it. Now as for the Error 13 - Your box won't even boot to your evox anymore? - Well then your going to have to Hotswap your HD under xlinux and repair your files. I feel for you right now man, I have had many Error screens in the past - just don't let them scare you - there is always a way to fix them - this is why I always use the audio exploit - much safer for you can always boot back to the ms dash

No, the only use for HDDriver is to load or make a backup of a HD.

also, you don't need an actual linux box - hop on IRC and ask around for XLinux - its an .ISO you can burn to a cd and boot from your pc before windoze. then follow a hotswap tutorial of your choice there are many out there - good luck this will most likely be my last post of the night - I will check back tomarrow to see how your doin.

NOTE: if you get an error starting the xbox (caused by the wrong xboxdash.xbe), before you hotswap the HDD, try booting your console with an original exploitable game (you need a memory card cointaining the hacked savegame too) and load evox with gamesave exploit... it could work...
