Hmmm.. I tried this but when I boot my Xbox it comes up and there is no text in the buttons. Also I saw something about this not working with the SW/Tetris bundle? That's what I have... is my xbox different somehow?

I've read through this forum about a dozen times now and still can't get the font exploit to work. I ran the 007:AUF and got into evox. FTP'ed into my box and copied in the bert and ernie fonts, and renamed the existing fonts. I'm trying to use the PBL(newest one I believe) and had to edit boot.cfg because of no r c 4 key. I've got evox 3935 and even tried to edit the evox.ini to add the bios hash for the M7bios. I have a K:5101 D:4920 after downgrading from 5659. After all that work of signing and transferring and editing files. When I start my box all it does is roll/jumble the screen!

What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like the fonts themselves are working, but you're having a problem with Phoenix BIOS Loader. Check the PBL checklist (pinned).

BTW, the evox.ini MD5 BIOS hash is only for displaying the name of the BIOS in EvoX (so that it doesn't say "Unknown"). It's just a display feature and doesn't affect anything else.

have u tried the 4981.06 bfm bios? when i did a k: 5101 box loading that bios fixed the rolling/jumbling screen.

OK....tried the 4981.06 bfm bios but still jumbling\rolling screen and went through the checklist twice just to make I sure I didn't forget something. I'm using the bert and ernie reloaded and pbl v1.3 and still not working?!? I don't know what the heck is going on.

Ah. Try using PBL 1.3.5i. I don't think 4981 works with PBL 1.3.

yep that's ur problem right there. 1.3 only supports the 4977 bios.

Weehaa....just got it figured, found PBL 1.3.5i and PBL v1.4. Read the readme files and noticed the v1.4 was focus video encoder chip capable so I ran that one and everything works great now. What a relief. That evox screen is pretty...especially after working on a box for 3 days. Now all I have to do is flash the tsop and I'll be set. Any tips for that?
