so just use like a smartxx or xenium rebuild and it would do the same thing?

yes, though i've heard people have had better success with the smartxx rebuild, although you could look at the xecuter2 diagrams...

The Chameleon will work on 1.6 but requires soldering. Just use the Xenium guide.

I would use the pin header install method and solder under the board for a clean install.

good luck

To disable it you will need to put a switch on pin 7 I think.

i can't just put it in mode four with the eject and power wires connected and just hold eject to disable?

remember to use the M8_16 bios, couldn't you use the Evox software to disable the chip (chameleon evox.ini)?

No evox and the eject p/e pins will not work since there is not an d0 on the 1.6 mobo.  you will need to wiore up lframe (pin7) directly from the top of the mobo and then cut the trace on the mobo connect the wire on the other end of the cut and ether connect the pin 7 or the lfram on the mobo to boot the twi different bioes.

Another suggetion that worked for me is to put the ms bios on bank 4 and use that bank to run live.
