There will be no release of Mechinstaller-Phoenix from these forums...
The moderating staff has been degrading, humiliating, flaming, censoring and deleting me and my posts for the past 3 days.
Their hipocracy is funny. While I offer a legal way to obtain dash 4920, they continue to support "slayer's" and piracy as they flame my posts and ignore my pleas for justice.

keep the faith and let him know we still want it, just cuz he wont release it here dont mean the usual place wont carry it.

personally i dont see any legal reason why you cant do it, i mean if its about xbox dash hacks well them you better delete the entire forum section dedicated to ms dash hacks,
if its about offereing downgraded or upgraded ms dashes, unless M$ threated you, i dont see anything illegal either, especially since its an un modified dashboard, you are simply upgrading or downgrading. and even if they did threaten you a threat is only a threat and unless there is legal backing, then they are just throwing more idle threats like they always do.

personally if XS dont want this here, fine it IS their choice to do so and in the interest of legal reasons i respect that, but there is no reason to trash the project now is there ?

well i finally did it,
i screwed up,, i was trying to test the mech installer and i renamed and added the fonts and have everything on my E/feenix folder. (MY msdash is called newdash.xbe since i use B&E Reloaded) so i use boxplorer and go into the C drive and hit xboxdash.xbe. and it reboots and goes to the REGULAR msdash. so i reboot again..

guess what...

NOTHING!!!

my heart sunk boys and girls let me tell you! my friggin font hack is gone! i must have got confused and renamed the wrong font! but why i dont know, my ORIGINAL B&E reloaded fonts are still there.

ok so i throw in MA and run the installer, or what i THOUGHT was the installer, it said install linux so i thought that was the right one.

the progress bar was all the way done and sat there for 5 min so i said screw it and reboot, and guess what..
CLOCK LOOP god damn it,, now my balls just sunk.

ok so im trying it again and the progress bar is at 100% now for 10 min.

so watch your ass im not so sure wtf i did wrong but now i have to attempt a hot swap again.. GGRRRRRRR

WOW was that a close one,,

lesson learned the first time i screwed up.

SAVE YOUR HD KEY and SAVE a COPY of a WORKING hack C drive.

easy and painless hard drive unlocking using hdunlockx and restore your back up of C.

damn i wonder what the hell went wrong.

so if i were to use the installer correctly, does it actually say Install Linux or does it say something else ?
