i hope your using PBL 1.3.5i dude cuz its coming out that SOME games,, so far,, Topspin will only run from the hard drive , when using the fonts and pbl with the 4977 bios,, eVERY other bios from binz makes the game lock,, so with 1.3.5i it allows you to choose your bios.

so i didnt go thru and read everything thus far,, just too much to read right now.

OK, I *think* i want to run these fonts, but have a few questions.
First, Im using big fonts, pbl1.3.5 and what ever the latest evox is.

I have not gotten loop yet, and I would like to keep it this way by running these fonts.
Changing that what the xbox live tab is  F*cking cool, but I like how my xbox goes thru phoenix and evox with out me have to push anything but the power buttong on my xbox controller.  (Im a lazy fat as*)

Now, can I use these fonts to boot PBL right away, or will I have to click on the tab.  How would I go about doing this? If it is possible ofcourse.....

With this exploit, the dash is always reached. Instead of loading an unsigned xbox executable, these fonts load a hex edited dash with the option of clicking the xbox live tab and launching evox

For all you people who have questions as to whether or not this works here is some insight on it.  Yes you can use this to load pbl through the MS dashboard.  Someone has hacked the fonts that are used from the linux guys to run unsigned code signed with the habibi key.  Once installed you can have the xbox live tab replaced with the word phoenix and upon clicking on it pbl loads up.  The only downfalt to any of this is that the clock loop does in fact still exist.  The good thing about it through my experience messing with it is that it does come out of the loop within about 5 minutes always and allows you to reset the clock.

To get this to work all i did was put two hacked fonts into my fonts folder under c: and renamed the original fonts with the extension .bak  I then signed my default.xbe file in my pbl folder with the habibi key using xbedump.  Then i put a folder called feenix (it has to be named feenix) with pbl in it on the e: drive.  Once all this is done you can start using the hack.   If you can't find the fonts anywhere they are posted in these forums, but they do need decoding to get them to work.

P.S.  I tried using pbl 1.3 for about 5 minutes without luck, so i would suggest using the newest pbl 1.3.5.

Oh and by the way for pbl to work make sure you have evoxdash.xbe and evox.ini somewhere on your system.  <---------For all the dumb people who don't know this.

ph34r.gif Back Up origional Xbox Dash files using Any Exploit through FTP. Just a precaution!

cool.gif Install and TEST the Mechinstaller-evox Exploit
cool.gif Copy new C, E, drives from Xbox to PC via FTP. These are the Exploited Dash and Evox-Pheonix.

wink.gif Get HD Key (tutorials somewhere)

blink.gif  Prep New 120 HD (partitions etc)
blink.gif  Copy Files to new 120 HD
blink.gif  Lock new 120 HD using key

dry.gif Open Xbox
dry.gif  Remove Origional Hard Drive
dry.gif  Put in new locked 120 HD
dry.gif Close Xbox

rolleyes.gif  Boot Xbox
rolleyes.gif  If it works Boox Evox from M$ Dash
rolleyes.gif  Format F: using Evox (tutorial somewhere)
rolleyes.gif  Look the extra space and say 'wow'

ALSO Just in case!:

smile.gif  Copy ORIGIONAL xbox Dash and files to ORIGIONAL Xbox Hard Drive.
smile.gif  Place in a safe place.
smile.gif  If exploit goes crazy, swap the drives, If you wanna use Live! Swap the drives, If you wanna get back to your Virgin xbox, swap drives.

Can anyone confirm this would work?

eerrr phoenix.raw,, uhm i left mine in there
but the readme that comes with 1.3.5i doesnt say to leave it in there, sooo
i assume its for fresh installs meaning that the raw file from 1.3 dont need to be there.
who wants to be the first to try lol hehehehe.

i keep forgetting if pheonix bombs i still have the font hack behind it,, so i guess i could delete the raw file as a test... mmm maybe not hahahaha.

1.3.5i does not require the pheonix.raw file - I don't have it in my Pheonix directory.

Also, I exited from the clock loop yet again after only 1 reset this time. It does seem to be well and truely fixed.
