on a box with all the save gaes deleted (v1.2) I only had to "...." the offset

abe80000 to get it to work well enough for me to read the "system" section.

however you MUST install evox before inserting bert and ernie as "b&e" will cause the "invalid size error" also.

Its ok if you get the error again after everything is restored, put the hard drive back in your xbox and try it. Mine gave me the errors at the end but it still ended up working perfectly. After I saw my cuddly kitty evox background I was like

I think he means that the hdd_driver goes back to saying the invaild size error. but I will try it in my xbox here but I don't see how it will work when it's the files in the HDD that need to be deleted, so please post on what is goin on. and what should I/we do. thanks

I think mine is better ,but thats because i wrote it from my experience and for my xbox ,
maybe a list of disk's and their HEX values would work

my disk was a ST310211A

But just to note this is a shit method , you should only try it if

a> you suck at linux like me
b> your to tight to buy a modded usb lead and pen drive (£30) like me
c> your bored with your xbox and are happy to fuck around hotswapping and stuff risking permanatly damaging it

their are people on the web selling a mem card with the hacked save games on for as little as £20

save yourself a lot of heart ache leave the screws in, and buy a game and hacked mem card or modded lead and pen drive ...
