A friend and I just completed this method, and on some issues:
Locking drive with wrong key: You have to be sure that you lock it with the right key. IF you are wrong, you have to go back and unlock it with the same error key and then re-lock it. Double and triple check the drive lock. Arguably, you could low-level format the MBR to get out of a bad lock and start over also, but that leaves a not so fresh feeling.
Bios.bin and key back up with Evox: There are many documented instances in the forum where the evox backup has given a bogus key in hddinfo.txt. Use configmagic to back up your eeprom and get the key from there or you can try a evox boot from 007:AUF and use that backup. This is what worked for me. Alternately, for a friend it worked by look at the backup folder in the UDATA folder. Live info is the shiznit, and it will never steer you wrong as long as you have the right bios.bin
Generally, this tutorial is just what the doctor ordered. I am sitting here with 111GB of free space. What to do, what to do?
