The way I get mine out of the loop is:

1. Put in audio cd (I used Aphex Twin wink.gif

2. Xbox connected to router.

3. Hold down  L & R buttons

After about 5 minutes it comes out of the loop, dont know if all of these have to be done but it works everytime for me. Good Luck !

Here is something I do not understand.  If you are not willing to open your xbox then why in the hell do you think that you would have the skill or even general knowhow to attempt any type of exploit.  Noobs like you should avoid anything that is not straight plug & play.  When you enter this board and read the Tuts it is always with the explicit understanding that these mods come with *risk*.  Now that risk goes down when you can add any 2 digits together, but the same risk goes way up when your a slack jawed tree swinging dumbass.

Usually I would not say such things, but you having the nerver to bitch at anyone about your clock loop problems is off the chart in the stupidity dept.  And then someone actually gives you their time and posts you an idea and your response is to just slap him in the face and say "No I dont want to do that".  As far as I am concerned if you whine once more you should be banned from this board and then maybe you can stop screwing with your xbox.  The funny thing is that there are a few ways to fix your problem but due to your pisspoor attitude I hope you never figure them out.

its not that i cant or wont open up an xbox, its the fact that i can install this shit without opening it up and have 100% reliablity, i have one thats all fine and all but its opened up and all, spray painted and shit... it would be nice to know that i dont have to open them up at all, thats all. i wasnt trying to be mean i was just sayin if there is any other way then i would rather do that, thats all

If you have the backup folder on your pc (from the unmodded xbox), which has eeprom.bin file in it, just copy the eeprom.bin to a modded xbox and put it in the configmagic/data folder.

Load up configmagic on your modded xbox, choose load eeprom from .bin file then update eeprom. (Make sure you have a backup of your modded xbox eeprom.bin file first)

Then rip out the original hd and plug it in to your modded xbox and you can access the hd and fix her up.
