I did what you said...and it works GREAT!!

Playing Splinter Cell:PT and being able to boot avalaunch whenever I want from my dash using audio hack is PIMP!

if you do any of these things you will be banned off of xbox live MS detects hacks cracks serialz and other things

Can anyone confirm that this actually prevent updates from games like ninja gaiden and other new live games. I tried this on my chipped xbox but it still updated full.

I think as long as you run your games from your hacked dashboard in the first place it wont update?

If you boot from the MS dash then I reccon it probably would upgrade you..

Nah I just modded some xboxes with the audio hack and tried it but it would still update with ninja gaiden. Even without a network cable plugged in.

gamesave exploits work on any dashboard.

sooo i did all this but now when i go to the xbox live tab it just goes back to the MS dash. It does not update teh dash which is super cool. the only problem is that I havent set up a live account yet and now i have no way to do that. I actualy dont have a live game yet either .. both are in the mail as we speak hipefully, unless they are still on back order. Am i goign to be able to set up an account through conectign with a game or will I have to go back to my original set up, set up an account and do this all over again. I mean i can easily do this but its jsut a pain in the ass since i thought i was going to be all set.

ok let me get this straight.

i copy my c: to my pc

remove the audio hack?

update to 2.0

boot with AUF, replace c:

and dont click on "xbox live" on the dash, only in a game?

No,

You copy your C drive.

You update to live 2.

You leave your new updated C drive in tact...and replace ONLY c:xboxdash.xbe with your old one from your backup..AND..a folder named Xboxdashdata.xxsomethingxx.

Then reboot.

Leave your E drive and audio hack there all the time.

You can safely go in to live from the dashboard so long as you do not have a mod chip.
