Hey,

If I read the directions of your post correctly you flashed bank 1 and are tring to boot bank 0. Try booting bank 1 and see if that solves your problem. If not get the x2 4983 bios from #xbins. There is a tut in xbox-scene that will tel you how to get to #xbins with mirc program.

bios 0 is corrupt I believe, the linux screen comes up , no " please insert cd". So I switched to bios 1, now I get "please insert cd" . It loads bios and turns off, I've switched back to bios 0 and nothing has changed.

Where or has the bios been loaded...............Thanks.....

What BIOS and what size BIOS are you using??

Try finding or redownloading the BIOS again. I have seen so many "mis-fires" on the download of the BIOS. Let me know how it goes.
