Man... I'm pissed too, but there's always a solution. If I were you, I'd do what I did... do whatever it is you need to do to relax, download the xlinux iso, and do the hotswap trick. If you know which files go where, it really shouldn't too hard (albeit a huge pain in the ass) to get it back in working order.

PLEASE HELP - I'm lost and really up a creek without a paddle

Firstly, WHAT number is the error message?  If you go HERE it will give you a more detailed discrition on exactly what the error has been caused by.

If you used the HotSwapp Method originally, then yes I am afraid.

alcoholfueled, i think you should have had a warning at the beggining of the tutuorial

Do you HONESTLY think that a warning will deter anyone?

R.A.P You are stuck in a boot loop.  Sit it out, let it boot itself stupid (or just leave it a while and try again later).  You WILL eventually break out of it.

Ok, I REALLY need to get something straight here. Maybe this has been posted already but I couldn't find it in my haste so I will post now:

I have my (quite) new green limited edition Xbox wich is v1.2 (kernel 5101, but all green xboxes are 1.2 i heard)
I really do not want to blow it so here it comes.

I know that u said that as far as u knew it works on all versions, maybe u know more by now so I ask again: Do you know if it can work on v1.2?
And if you don't and let's say it all goes wrong. Can i safely revert it without opening my Xbox?

I have heard reports of people using the Phoenix Loader on the Green Xbox's so you should be in the clear.

Im assuming (since you talk about not opening the box) you are using either the Memory Unit or the Action Replay method so YES you will be able to revert back to the original without having to preform the HDD swap PROVIDING that you are still able to boot original games.  The only reason you would not be able to is if you mistakingly deleted important files.

reloaded always sets the date too the 4th i believe. i haven't run into the loop with it. but bigfonts25 definately fixes the clock for me.

tongue.gif...)

Ok, *again* me, I really know this might be the stupidest question on the entire board (forum?) though I will just ask:
When you have to edit the evox.ini, behind the IP should you put the IP there that your Xbox will got to have (wich i think) or do you have to put in your own computer's IP?
Over here it is like this (within the network):

192.168.0.1     Server (with Inet connection)
192.168.0.2     My comp
192.168.0.3-6  Other comps
192.168.0.7     What i WANT to be my Xbox's IP

So do i have to put 192.168.0.7 over there, or 192.168.0.2?
