Any Definite Clock Fix Avail Yet?
« on: July 19, 2003, 09:37:00 AM »

i think reloaded do work (never tried them), but ppl don't want the clock set to 4th of july everytime (which is basically a quick and dirty fix, but it works).

I am having a hell of a time with the clock. I have a v1.0 xbox with 4034. I am using bigfontz with pheonix loader, and am still having no luck. Once the clock goes dead on me, I am stuck in a loop. I have an X1 chip in there already, so this is just for shitz and giggles anyway. However, I would like to find a solution for this. Even plugging in the network cable doesn't help ( I never could see how It would anyway). I  let the thin cycle in reboot for about an hour, and had no luck getting a boot.

big fonts definately worked when I let the clock go dead.

It is set at July 4th permanently now, though.

(How do I fix that?)

Have it jump to your MSDASH clock.  Fixes the problem.

knothing in the font expolits work sorry. now i was never dumb enough to leave my xbox unplugged.  but sence then i have switched to the audio expolite thats the only shure fire way to not have your xbox go into a inf loop. if ya do some hex dting and make another msdash you can copy and listion to your music again.

Hello smile.gif, I had the infinite loop syndrome also. I did mine on purpose just 2 c what would happen. I let it reboot for about 1min. Then i just shut my xbox off for about 5min (Still left the power cable plugged in).  After that, I powered up my box & it came back up just as normal. Btw I have the exact same system setup as u do.  But I have a few more option like (on off switch for my x1 mod, 120gb hard disk etc..).  So, try it. Just leave the box plugged in & it should reset itself. Mine did.

u can learn something from everybody. smile.gif.

Do you have a modchip? See mine is constantly rebooting tried the 2 hour thing didnt work so it seems. I used the tsop flashing with mech assualt? does that make any difference on how to fix the reboot?

I too have a switch on my X1, that is how I get out of the loop everytime. I am doing this purely as hobbiest, to see if I can get it to work. This morning I had the loop. I turned it off, and went to work. this evening I will turn it back on and see if it comes out of it. Thanks for the tip.

I exploited my friends xbox with 22nd July Bigfonts and Phoenix Bios Loader 1.0 a few days ago. This morning he phoned me and told me it kept rebooting.. I asked him if he'd left it unplugged (as I told him not to).. he said "no but i switched it off at the wall"
After I'd finished slapping him I brought it back to my house to see if I could get it to work using my modded box or something.
I've currently been watching it reboot for over an hour... Is there any better solution to getting it back yet?

Edit: It came back.. so it seems that patience is the fix
