Xlite Problem With 1.6b
« on: April 10, 2005, 08:25:00 PM »

I installed x-lite to my xbox(1.6b) and got yellow/ green flash led when power on.
However it runs normally if I turn off the x-lite. Does anyone have any idea how do I fix this?

Did you rebuild the LPC trace lines correctly and set the X-Lite to 1.6 mode

After checking all the connections using multimeter, I found some unproper solder points. I fixed it and the xbox finally booted normally with x-lite enable. However, it looks just like there is no mod-chip at all or at least I can't tell the difference. How do I make sure that the chip is working? Shouldnt there be an alternate boot screen? Is it safe to install a larger harddrive now?

Did you (D0) or the (Lframe) solder point on the Xlite?

I got mine to work after soldering it to the (Lframe).

They forgot to mention theat on the Master Guide!
