Ftp With !loader

I just finished putting the BICOE exploit on my xbox using the xlinux hotswap tutorial, and I FTP'd into my xbox through evox.  Then i put the bert and ernie font files from Complex !Loader so that the disable reset-on-eject hack would work.  I also put a link to evoxdash.xbe in the complex.cfg file.  Then changed the evox.ini file so that I could format the F Drive so i could put stuff on it.  But i accidentally deleted the System Utils section in evox.ini and when i power the xbox it goes to the complex !loader screen and then I can go to the evox dash.  But for some reason i cannot FTP into the xbox anymore. I'm not sure I'm even doing it right. I have the IP and pass and username for FTP in evox, but it won't let me FTP in. Can i FTP in through !Loader? or do i actually have to rip apart my computer again to do the xlinux thing? help please!

it doesn't work... is there a limit on crossover cable length? (50 feet is mine) or is there something else that may be wrong?
