Would A Chip Help With This?
« on: April 05, 2005, 07:49:00 AM »

Wondering if a mod chip like the xchip would help with this problem I have from soft modding. Now I can not even load the splinter cell exploit or FTP into my box:

Xbox version 1
Did the soft mod with the Splinter cell exploit (using action replay)
No problem installing evox dash, everything went fine.
went to install Slayer's auto install 2.6. Tried to install to F drive, did it's thing for a few minutes (full install). Now it does not work.

I can ftp into the XbOX, but no access to F or G drives

I had backed up my C drive on XBOX, but not E ( i know I know).
Tried copying my C drive back, now I get the dreaded red and green flash when no disk instered.
I can boot into splinter cell and the exploit, but can not install or uninstall UDE (or backup) or run any of the dash boards.
I can not even boot into the M$ default dashboard

Any advice would be apreciated. <

Yes it would help but try putting in an Xbox Live game see if it would boot up and let it install the latest m$ xbox live dash. You would then have to buy a chip. X-Chip should be ok :). <
