Using Xlinux To Hot Swap
« on: July 17, 2003, 05:16:00 PM »

I'm having trouble with Step E in the Pinned tutorial above - "Guide To Installing Free-x/evox Using Xlinux". I cannot seem to be able to use the mount command. it worked when i mounted /xbox but when i try to mount the line is Step E it says unable to mount, bad fs or type or too many mounted things. Could this be because I have a floppy connected? or is it that I need to change hdc51 to hdb51 or something? Help please! i'm so close to getting this thing done.

unfortunately xlinux apparently does not support the nt filesystem. darn. so what should i try now? can i use my Mandrake Linux 8.2 PowerPack to do this (recognize xbox drive)? Or do you think Windows 98 would work?
