Seagate: Shock In Excess Of 350gs?

actually a rather short fall could produce 350gs, it has to do with how fast its moving when it hits the ground (it accelerates all teh way down) and how much time it takes to stop (essentially .001 seconds when hitting a hard surface)

so id say maybe a 10 foot or so drop, much less if you actually throw it down rtaher than just drop it
