What about XBox ver 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 are this versions hacked and working 100% with "the modding without chip" instalation? I have tried to read it out but I can't understand it all. Please let me know how far the work has been done, on each version.

Are there any easy way yet, to get the XBox "modding without chip", for example any cd instal or any easy file instal?

I have done the "no mod install" on 4 box's so far.   A Ver 1.0 , (2) Ver 1.1's, and a Ver 1.2.

Simple disk install?  Not at at this time.  You will always have to do alittle work to get this exploit working.
Simply because to get the save game from your pc to your xbox requires additional equipment or a buddy LOL.

So far if you have a ver 1.0 xbox you can boot the loader dash and make and play backup games.
If you have any other version of the xbox you can only play the backup games.  (The font exploit so far for any xbox other than the 4034 kernel wont authenticate the dvd drive for reading inside the Loader dash.)

The save game hack works on all the xboxs.  This isnt kernel version dependant.

Also the endless loop problem that for some reason that is occuring seems to happen when the xbox looses its clock settings.  This can be fixed by putting an xbox original game in and waiting till it boots.  (The XBox will reboot numerous times and after a prolonged period of time the game will just boot.)

I have noticed on all the models that I have worked on the bert and ernie reloaded fix for the clock doesnt seem to work on xbox's with phillips drives.  Nor can I get the xbox dash modified properly in the phillips units.

Hope this helps,

Hi xboxwannabe!

No I will try the first version of cd installation or an easy file-installation when it shows up. So far I have two XBoxe:s. One that I have modified by myself with a pin-instalation, it is an Executer 2.0 pro chip. I tried the risky way with this one and put the pins in it. I can easily changes the chip and it is working great.

My advice to others that modified with chip are, don't use the pin instalation it is a kind of risky, use the thread instalation instead. I know people who used pin and they manage to ruin the XBox.

This time I want to risk my seconde XBox when first CD-instalation from scratch comes to an unmodified XBox...

I am not good in software-creating, that is why... I haven't done anything to my seconde XBox yet. Got my answear, xboxwannabe? By the way, what risk did you take with your XBox or are you just waiting for me and others to risk our XBoxe:s and have you ever tried to mod your XBox inside, xboxwannabe? Please tell me!

I have used nothing but Matrix Mod chips with pins and So far they have been great.

But if I were to recommend anything to anyone.  Would be just connect the TSOP points and flash your TSOP.
If you keep the evox with raincoat save game on your xbox and before you flash the executor 2 bios into your TSOP simply back up your original TSOP information and save it off somewere.

This way you can easily just go back and flash the TSOP back with the original bios if you ever feel the need.

P.S.  No advancements to the exploit can really be made except tracking down a solid method to reproduce the problems.  Which I believe I have tracked down.  Now the catch is I cant "fix" it without having the sources or a hookup to talk to about it.   sad.gif
