Is there no way to exploit a modded xbox without all this memory card and 007  business and then remove the chip? (Matrix) and have it work!

uh, if youve already got a mod chip dont do the exploit...
its real simple, you dont need a mod chip to do it

Yes you do need the exploit even if you have a modchip.  You need to do it purely in the name of fun, keeping up with what's next, and of course ultimately more control as this new exploit matures.
