ok, once it loses time... it really doesnt do anything diffrent then when it has time... it will boot into Evox... you dont even know it lost time. the only way you know it lost time is if you put in an xbox original game and then reboot the system. if it loads the game, then it didnt lose time yet... if it doesnt load the game(basically ignoring the game is inside) and it still loads into Evox. Since I have installed bert and ernie reloaded... no matter if it has time or lost it, it will still boot into Evox... this has been my experience as of yet... so far confirmed with 3944 and 5051.

korn... just load complex 1.1 as an app in Evox... make sure you put the default.xbe(complex) in the apps folder (i.e. e:apps-complex-default.xbe) and put the !Loader folder inside the C:... in the patches folder within the !Loader folder put the EVOX-4034.DLL file in there(i.e. c:!Loader-Patches-EVOX-4034.DLL... this will allow complex v1.1 to work with ur 3944... you can try this now... go check it out and report back... you should be able to FTP into the xbox now with complex. Get everything working before you decide if you want to lose time.

korn, no it really had nothing to do with the time... i believe the only way the xbox can authenticate a DVD is if its in there before it boots up... then it unlocks the security on the DVD. The losing the time clock only enables you to have the original disk inside and not have the xbox boot it... just go directly to Evox then complex and authenticate the DVD. Its really simple if you think about it... everytime someones xbox would lose time... they would be so worried about not getting it back, all they wanted was to set it back with the time... I simply had the patience to play with it with the time lost... I have been able to backup my copy of halo and its now working... I patched it with xbedump and the backup worked... very exciting for me.

You know.. this might make since... since the xbox wont run the games until you configure your system.

Another thing to try tonight.  BWA HAHAHA

I have been unplugging my xboxes in intervals of 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours so far... so its gonna be 2+ hours... so i'll keep trying until I get a definate wait time unless someone already knows it.

Well yea.. the 3944 and 4034 models work fine with the COMPLEX-Loader 1.1 .... my 4034 authenticates dvd's no prob... its the ver 1.1 box's with the 4817 kernel that were working on getting to work.
