Gentoox Problems

not sure why, but when i run gentoox from within evox, it boots up then as soon as it gets to "setting system time to hardware clock (utc)" it just freezes.. doesnt even load far enough to start ssh or anything, anyone have any ideas? (using pro edition, maybe it has a bug).
