Green Graphic Startup Delay
« on: July 14, 2003, 01:18:00 PM »

Do any of you get like a green graphic, like the background of the MS Dash, right at the startup, after that green blob intro. I see it for about 2 seconds. Then my Evox Dash loads. But I have always saw the Green Graphic. But now its more noticable because of the Evox. It started to appear after I installed the Live Beta kit in early October. I was thinking its the beta kit that made it appear. My friends installed the Retail Kit and they recieved no graphic with a delay. Maybe there is like a file I could edit/delete.

Well, I've had this graphic delay before the exploit. It came on right before the original MS Dash. (well I would see the green background) Then 2 seconds later I would see the menu options appear, like Memory, Music, Xbox Live etc) Now that I'm able to delete files and all that, I was just wonder if I could get rid of it now.

As mentioned before... so what? As long as it loads the Evox menu then you're fine. Who cares if it delays for a second or two. Mine delays for about 3 seconds and never did it before I installed Evox. As long as it gets it's job done, then it's fine.

besides if it did that before you should have called MS and paid 100$ to fix that itty bitty problem before doing this exploit which MAY cost you 200 even if u didn't open ur box

NOt really.  If you have an extended warrantee at, say, Best Buy...

you just walk in, they look and see that the screws have not been touched, and you get a new box.

This is the perfect solution to modless mods.

Buggy or not!
